Default StreetPilot 2610 & 2650 Discontinued

Garmin recently discontinued the StreetPilot 2610 and 2650 models. A few months ago, the other two models in the 2600 series (StreetPilot 2620 and 2660) were also discontinued.

StreetPilot 2610 was very popular with automotive and motorcyle users. It used Compact Flash (CF) memory for map storage and was seen by many as the best value among the models in Garmin's 2600 series.

StreetPilot 2650 was less well-known. It had similar functionality but also included a dead reckoning feature and was a lot more expensive.

StreetPilot 2600 series models have been replaced by newer 2700 and 2800 series models.
