Has anyone bought a garmin from e-bay from China? I had an e-mail from one of them that claimed he was liget. Very bad at speaking/writing English.
All I had to do was wire the $. I wrote back and told him that I was honest too. Send me the GPS and then I will send /wire the $. I haven't gotten it yet. Lee |

I've seen those ads too. The sellers usually have little or no feedback, and the feedback they do have is from other new accounts in China.
Smells stongly like fish JM |

It sounds to good to be true, so it probably is.

I thought that I would update this thread when I came across it.
I am now the owner of a Garmin 7500. It is easy to read with the 7" screen. I haven't figured out all it will do yet, but from what I have used it has been great. It took me through a bad part of town on a stormy day. I just put in the address before leaving home, and it took me to the business that I was looking for. Now if I can just figure out how to splice into my XM Radio on the truck Would be nice. Just subscribe to the weather/traffic and away we go. Just don't know if that is possible. Lee |
