Default Garmin

Has anyone bought a garmin from e-bay from China? I had an e-mail from one of them that claimed he was liget. Very bad at speaking/writing English.
All I had to do was wire the $.
I wrote back and told him that I was honest too. Send me the GPS and then I will send /wire the $. I haven't gotten it yet.

Talking too good

I've seen those ads too. The sellers usually have little or no feedback, and the feedback they do have is from other new accounts in China.

Smells stongly like fish

Default To Good To Be True

It sounds to good to be true, so it probably is.

Default Update this Thread

I thought that I would update this thread when I came across it.
I am now the owner of a Garmin 7500. It is easy to read with the 7" screen.
I haven't figured out all it will do yet, but from what I have used it has been great. It took me through a bad part of town on a stormy day. I just put in the address before leaving home, and it took me to the business that I was looking for. Now if I can just figure out how to splice into my XM Radio on the truck Would be nice. Just subscribe to the weather/traffic and away we go. Just don't know if that is possible.
