A waypoint is a location that you’ve marked in your GPS navigation system. Most navigation systems allow you to save the location of any place you want using a waypoint.
You might use waypoints to show the location of your home or other favorite destinations. They can also useful for keeping track of campsites, boat docks, and other landmarks.
